Black & White Spotted Mare To Be Bred To Lenny's Horse
Foaled 2003 - 14.3H
Black - Homozygous Tobiano - negative Agouti - negative
Apple is a rare spotted mare standing at 14.3h. She is an exceptional example of a what an off colored Gypsy Horse should be. She has outstanding silky feather and plenty of it! She also has a good mane and tail and wonderful spots, which will develop even more over time. Apple has produced 3 outstanding foals...2 fillies and a colt! All are clasic examples of what should be strived for in a breeding program. Apple is well under saddle and rides wonderfully. She is responsive and willing. Her calm personality makes her perfect for those everyday trail walks.
Apple's sire is a very heavy, grey spotted horse called White Ghost well know for throwing this unique color. Her dam is a heavy black mare standing at just over 14.2hh. Her Grandfather is the black horse shown above, so as you will see her bloodlines are true quality, as is this mare. Currently located in Missouri.
Listed at $30,000 confirmed in foal to Lenny's Horse
Apple was 1 of our 3 Embryo Transfer Mares for 2006. On May 14, 2007, we were blessed with a GORGEOUS colt by Whispering Winds Indigo. Proudly named Indiana Jones, he's sure to make his parents proud. At just 3 days old his feather is already making a statement as it touches the ground.
